What Did I Learn My First Year With Tower Garden And Growing Our Own Fruits And Vegetables?

This was my first year growing our own fruits and vegetables in our #TowerGarden.

What did I learn?  Lots!!

I learned the taste of #homegrown is better than store bought.

I learned you can grow almost anything in the Tower Garden with a high yield quickly.

I learned that you don't have to use harmful and hazardous pesticides in your garden.

Birds didn't bother it and neither did bugs and hummingbirds gather to it.

I learned you don't have to be a farmer to have a garden and it's ok to be a beginner!  I also learned it's cheaper than raised beds.

I learned it's easy to maintain and a true enjoyment to watch it change nearly everyday.

I learned that a lot of people want one and some think they are too expensive.  Some say you can build one for a fraction of the cost, perhaps, but not one that looks like this.

These are just some of the things I grew: tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers (big and small) basil, lettuce, lavendar, zuchinni, squash.

I've cut back the tomatoes today since it's cool.  The rest of the tomatoes will have to ripen on the patio table.  I feel a sense of loss since it's been such an everyday part of our lives for months... but it's been a BLAST!  I still have some peppers and a few cantaloupe going!
